Annapurna takes its name from Nepal's most popular mountain range, the majestic centrepiece of the western Nepal. The pristine waters and untouched landscape are the inspiration for the gastronomic delights that await you.

Cuisine of the Himalayas refers to the cuisines of India, Nepal, Thailand and Tibet. The cultural diversity of Nepal has provided ample space for the growth of a number of cuisines based on the ethnic groups and the geographical features of the region. Hence, Himalayan food encompasses a whole array of different flavor. Thali is a staple dish of Nepal. While momos are the favorite dumplings of the Newars in Kathmandu Valley.

Born in the mountain of the Himalayas this has become a favorite style of food throughout the world. The difference is in the seasoning. Using the finest vegetables, meats and sea-foods, full-flavored fancy spices and modest herbs combine to provide a culinary experience.
