Rising Sun Holiday Cottages, comprising Rising Sun Holiday Cottage and Haddock's Nook Holiday Cottage, are managed by Carolyn and Allan Boddy, who live nearby and whose main objective is to ensure that your holiday is a success. Rising Sun Holiday Cottage and Haddock's Nook are part of the Rising Sun Estate which is privately owned.

The family is passionate about the environment in which they live, and are pleased to welcome you to share with them the delights of their North Yorkshire Holiday Cottages.

We are just outside Aldwark, 10 minutes from the North Yorkshire Moors. Our nearest town is Easingwold, which is a typical farming market town. Aldwark is off the A19, which runs through the heart of scenic North Yorkshire. We are just south of Kilburn, which offers probably the most stunning views of Yorkshire from the Cleveland Way.

Rising Sun Holiday Cottage sleeps up to four people and comprises kitchen, living room, master bedroom with en-suite shower room, twin bedroom (can be converted to super-king) and family bathroom. Pets are welcome, too.

Haddock's Nook is set in complete seclusion down the lane behind the farmstead, overlooking open farmland and woodland abundant with wildlife. The cottage sleeps four with the option for 2 more on the sofa-bed. It comprises kitchen, living room, master bedroom with en-suite shower room, twin bedroom and family bathroom. No pets in this one though.

On arrival at Rising Sun you will be introduced to your cottage. Every effort is made to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Our holiday cottages have under floor heating, wireless internet, wood burning stove (Rising Sun Holiday Cottage only), TV, DVD etc.

We will provide the full complement of linen and towels and you will be welcomed with fresh milk, tea, coffee and biscuits to refresh you after your journey. Ample parking is available.
