AB 2000 Limited has been trading since 1995 as a reputable family owned plant hire and contracting company. We specialise in plant and mobile crane hire/contract lifts, concrete pump hire, site clearance, soil stripping, earthmoving, crushing/screening and demolition.

All of our machines are driven and maintained by very experienced and skilled CPCS/PTS operators and mechanics, all of whom are fully qualified. We are constantly renewing and adding to our plant fleet. Details can be found on our web site which is updated regularly.

In addition to this AB 2000 Ltd operates a comprehensive road rail fleet with associated attachments and experienced contract managers. All our operators and equipment are fully qualified and certified to current railway & industry standards.

August of 2005 saw the acquisition of the Mobile Crane and Plant Fleet from Motherwell Bridge Ltd. This fleet has now been completely renewed and has expanded to 13 mobile cranes. We also offer a comprehensive contract lift and machinery installation service with fully experienced and qualified personnel available for site inspections. AB 2000 also has a full range of test weights available for testing any lifting machinery.

To compliment our full range of site machinery we have a selection of heavy transport vehicles, these range from small pick-ups, low-loaders and hiab trucks.

Accompanying our site team is a very experienced management team who are individually known and acknowledged for their ability within the industry. Qualified to IOSH standards they can come to your site and assess your plant needs.

AB 2000 Ltd has recently been involved in a wide range of infrastructure projects. We provide a flexible approach and offer various crushing and screening services, which include bulk earthmoving and overburden strip. Our clients include FCBC, Roadbridge, SRB, Sisk, Morrisons, Bam Nuttall, Cemex, Aggregate Industries, I & H Brown, Doosan Babcock and Carillion Asset Management plc.
