KR Group

KR Group (formerly KR Audyt) is a growing Polish accounting, tax and auditing group with an international reach. We have been expanding dynamically since 1998, always providing the highest quality services from the outset. Our carefully selected team of specialists provide a comprehensive range of services in:

We have over 200 clients, mostly Polish companies with foreign
capital involvement and foreign entities that do business in Poland.

OUR TEAM

KR Group is a successful team of experts made up of Polish and
British statutory auditors and tax advisors, with just over 80 staff mainly employed in our Warsaw head office. We have a wealth of
practical experience gained in the largest worldwide auditing and
consulting companies and in tax authority inspection departments.
We adopt a team-based approach to servicing our clients. Unlike
other outsourcing firms where each employee is responsible for
a separate client, our clients each have a small dedicated team to
support them. If one team member is absent another can step in
to maintain an unaltered level of support. Each team is supervised
or led by a manager or partner, to ensure that our services are of
the highest standard.
Our VAT compliance teams are supported by a team of certified tax advisors,
who have extensive knowledge of VAT and significant experience in representing our clients during tax inspections and other tax proceedings.

VAT in Poland
Since EU entry for Poland in 2004 it has become much easier for foreign companies to register for VAT in Poland and follow EU VAT rules when conducting VAT activities in Poland. Unfortunately however Polish VAT regulations do differ from commonly encountered VAT principles in other European countries and therefore a sound understanding of these differences can be significant in achieving sufficient comfort over full VAT compliance in Poland.
Non EU resident companies are also required to appoint a fiscal representative in Poland who jointly is held liable for VAT liabilities in Poland.

VAT compliance
Since 2004 KR Group has been developing it’s VAT compliance department and we now have 15 English-speaking employees working in 3 teams servicing more than 90 foreign company clients registered for VAT in Poland. In addition these teams are supported by a team of 5 tax specialists who are qualified tax advisors. The scope of our work revolves around registration, preparation of VAT registers, review of source documents, preparing VAT returns, representing the client during any VAT inspections.
Our emphasis in allocating top VAT experts and experience of a variety of VAT issues over the last 8 years has given us a leading position in the sector of fiscal representation for non EU Companies – where a particular focus on VAT risk is essential.We estimate that our existing client base covers around 25% of all non EU Companies registered in Poland and we aim to increase this percentage.
Our clients also value our services – we pride ourselves on a minimal level of client rotation.
We provide such services like registration for VAT purpose in Poland with over 70 companies being registered by us up until now. Having in mind strict documentation requirements of the Polish tax authorities we are even able to get the VAT number for our Client within around a week.
For EU Companies where a fiscal representative is not required we are very flexible in the scope of our compliance activities to perfectly tailor our work with the scope of client staff employed on the Poland VAT position. Our level of involvement can range from acting as a correspondence address with the tax office and getting involved only when tax issues arise to providing full blown compliance work with a review of all documents included in the VAT registers.
Our VAT teams are also much experienced in assisting our Clients in tax inspectionsof VAT records in Poland.We usuallyservice around 20-30VAT inspections every year including tax controls of significant valueVAT refund applications. We are proud of the positive result each time and also pleased to hear that we have a good standing at the tax offices and therefore a leading position amongstother VAT compliance service providers.
We adopt a risk-based approach when assisting Clients to implement new tax procedures adjusted to Polish requirements where necessary and at the same time searching for opportunities for tax optimisation and bookkeeping simplifications. Each Client being served by our VAT compliance team receives a personalized VAT manual guiding him through specific Polish VAT regulations. In case of the existence of potential tax risks we hedge them with applications for tax rulings and if required we are ready to represent the Client during any tax proceedings including appeals to administrative courts.We also performtax analyses and prepare tax opinions where we prioritise a practical,business-related approach.

BOOK- KEEPING

Book-keeping forms a core part of KR Group's activities. Our services comply
Fully with accounting principles laid down by Polish law and with International
Financial Reporting Standards. We have many years of experience in solving
client problems, and can assist you whatever the legal structure of your business
and its current stage of development. The book-keeping system we employ
has been selected to ensure flexibility and can be adapted to a client's requirements.
The system allows remote access by the client over the Internet. Our services include:

- generating all other reports and declarations required by law
- generating sophisticated management reports in formats specified by clients
- accountancy advice
- representation during tax inspections

PAYROLL

If you need a hand calculating Polish company wages and salaries we can provide comprehensive assistance. We also have extensive experience with personnel and salary issues of the kind encountered by foreign entities in Poland.
